Abstract
A Platform for Redirecting and Removing Inert Space Material (PRRISM) is a system utilizing an antenna generating an electromagnetic (EM) wave to interact with a solar EM wave to streamline magnetic flux in the Polar Cusp and to facilitate the flow of solar plasma through the Polar Cusp, resulting in an increased density, velocity, and pressure at the exit of the Polar Cusp. The elevated plasma flow intercepts and removes small space debris from Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO) and Geosynchronous Transfer Orbits (GTO) transiting the LEO altitude regimes. Journal of Space Safety Engineering
The Journal of Space Safety Engineering (JSSE) is a quarterly publication of the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS). The JSSE is published using an open access publication model, meaning that all interested readers are able to freely access the journal online without the need for a subscription, and authors are not charged and retain the copyright of their work.
JSSE provides an authoritative source of information in the field of space safety design, research and development. It serves applied scientists, engineers, policy makers and safety advocates with a platform to develop, promote and coordinate the science, technology and practice of space safety. JSSE seeks to establish channels of communication between industry, academy and government in the field of space safety, and also covers related environmental issues.
The journal has a distinguished Editorial Board with extensive qualifications, ensuring that the journal maintains high scientific and technical standards and has a broad international coverage. Moreover, all published articles will be made available on PubMed Central and indexed in PubMed at the time of publication.
